Following a devastating fire that destroyed a large portion of the existing facility, ARIS were engaged to report on the fire damage and then design a new chiller and boning room for a pig abattoir in Kingaroy.
Recognising the need to return the business to full functionality as soon as possible, ARIS worked closely with Watpac and the project team to deliver a creative solution that was structurally efficient and reduced construction time.
A total of five project elements were designed and delivered as part of the overall rebuild project:
- New chillers
- New boning room
- New freezer building
- New central energy plant room
- External hardstand and stormwater modifications
