ARIS were engaged to provide civil and structural services for the development of Somerset Indooroopilly, a retirement living complex overlooking Indooroopilly Golf Course.
The complex includes 88 luxury apartments over 4, five-storey buildings that also includes a outdoor entertainment spaces and resort style facilities such as pool and spa, gym, yoga room, salon and café.
ARIS worked with Woollam Constructions to value engineer the project. This included greatly reducing the number of transfer structures and the number of footings and columns through the use of an alternative post-tensioned flat plate structure.
